Barb Lillico

As CEO of the Peterborough Family Resource Centre (PFRC), Barb has participated in the evolution of the organization from a small agency to a complex multi-service one. Barb has also been involved in the Ontario Early Years Network since its inception and, as its representative on the Families Canada Board, contributes a broad Ontario perspective.

Barb participates on planning committees with respect to Children’s Mental Health, Human Security Issues (poverty), Best Start, etc. As Co-Chair of the Community Action Program for Children/Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CAPC/CPNP) Coordinating Committee, Barb has led a number of initiatives over the years. Her experience as a CEO of a large not-for-profit organization and on local and provincial boards has armed her with a comprehensive rural-urban perspective and an understanding of both community needs as well as community development and family support principles.
