Why Attend?

Members Club is a quarterly online gathering of members designed to provide family support workers with a dedicated space to connect, share, and grow together. This club is an opportunity for Families Canada members to engage in activities and events, focused on fostering open conversation and encouraging members to build their networks and enhance family support services.

Session Overview

Who: Facilitated by the team at Communities 4 Families - Barby Sewrjugin and Cheri Kaguah

What: We’ll be discussing: Celebrating Diversity and Building Inclusive Programs

Join us for an engaging and practical session where we will explore the barriers some families may face when accessing programs, including neurodivergent individuals, non-English speakers, participants with physical, sensory (hearing and vision), and mobility challenges, and culturally diverse families.

Together, we will reflect on how to create equitable environments where all children and families feel welcomed, valued, and celebrated. We will share practical strategies and real examples that have worked in our own programs, focusing on how to create different ways for families to participate successfully. This will be an interactive session where participants are invited to share their experiences, explore challenges, and exchange ideas and solutions that have made a difference.
